ISE attendees will be able to see NETGEAR products in use by about 50 other technology partners who have complimentary AV-over-IP products. NETGEAR’s alliances with other manufacturers, sales/distribution partners, and technology alliances illustrate the commitment we’ve made to help make networking easier.
We’re also very excited about a new, global partnership with GPA, the largest systems integrator in the world with offices in 164 cities across 50 countries. GPA’s elite program ensures only the top global vendors are allowed to participate in this program. This partnership highlights the alignment between NETGEAR and GPA to make AV networking better and easier.
On the technology front, NETGEAR AV has joined the Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), a non-profit trade organization for the broadcast and media industry to increase the adoption of Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX™) — a set of open standards-based protocols designed to ensure interoperability for AV-over-IP systems. The new support of the AIMS Alliance coupled with ongoing support as a founding member of the SDVoE Alliance illustrates NETGEAR’s continued commitment to the commercial and broadcast markets.
NETGEAR’s AV-focused division, NETGEAR AV, has been recently launched to concentrate on the needs of both the commercial and residential custom integration AV markets. This includes products that are only available in the AV distribution channel, design teams for Pro AV and Pro WiFi installations, and software to help configure and manage wired and wireless networks.
